The 2007 season is well under way and although the weather and river conditions have been difficult to say the least we have been catching some very big cats.

Despite the conditions we have been busy fishing and creating new swims
Paul Dance and his posse opened up the account for the year with cats to 141 lb for Tony. Paul's best effort though was this stunning 24 lb scale perfect Common caught on just four pound line.
Claus and Allan from Denmark whilst fishing with the river 15 feet above normal conditions still managed to top the year so far with the biggest fish to date at a spectacular 160 lb.
Alex and Ben enjoyed a session with Ben coming out the best with Cats to 116 and a superb 31 lb common
Dave Allen and co hit into more big fish with cats to 104 and a very nice 15 lb Zander and loads of big carp.
Dale and son Lee get into some excellent sport. Lee beat his Dad though with this very impressive 140 compared to Dales 118
Jimmy returns with Danny (12) to see if he can do his pb three times in a row. Danny goes strait into the ton plus club with this specimen of 104 Jim does it again resulting in a new PB of 145 lb.
Nice one lads, and to cap it all Liverpool were lucky AGAIN!!
Tom Clark catches his first cat at a staggering 117 lb(nice smile Tom)
Finally the ladies are allowed to have a go led the way by Ilva
Give it some wellie
Stop showing off and get on with it
Here she comes
The result of her efforts not a pb but good sport.
Jakob with better half Stine got into some excellent lure fishing catching both cats and SABOGA
Imran, brother Kam, Ricky and Simon have a tough session with Imran leading the way with a couple of 80 plus.
The godfather "Brewers" manages a new PB at 85 and then drooped to allow his boys to enjoy the rest of the fun. PLATINUM B's didn't live up to expectation and only managed an 80, new boy GOLDEN B's managed an impressive 122 on his first outing, SOPPY B's was at the rear with a mere 78.
Ja, with Dad Ed and mate Pad earns young angler of the year to date, he was by far the most dedicated bait catcher and his hard work resulted in a lovely 102, Dad's best was an 82 (as usual the lad gets the biggy) and Pad managed an 80 unfortunately Pad's fish chewed through the stringer rope so no pics (but we have included a pic of what might have been!!)
The two Wez's from leicester enjoy a day in the boat resulting in a magnificent 120 for Wez 1(ending his 4 year quest to catch one) Alas Wez 2 missed 3 good opportunities to get into the action (think he should stick to golf not that he's any good at that either from what we've heard)
That's about if for now but watch this space for all the latest action of the awesome catfish on the River Ebro.
